Apartments in Stage 3 Residential House Project “Merks Viesturdārzs” is Now for Sale

Booking of apartments in the third and final stage of the residential house project “Merks Viesturdārzs” situated at Rūpniecības Street 33, Riga, has started. 90 apartments and 4 commercial premises were constructed during stage three. The project is expected to be finalised at the end of 2023.

“Merks Viesturdārzs” is the largest residential block in the prestigious and popular Silent Centre of Riga. Since 2018, when the first stage of the construction project was launched, the vicinity has changed completely as it has turned into modern urban environment. 353 apartments and 14 commercial premises were constructed during the three design stages. Total area of all buildings is going to exceed 28 000 m2

“This is a place capable of inspiring for new ambitions and goals. “Merks Viesturdārzs” is the largest residential bock in the Silent Centre, developed according to ascetic minimalist and yet independent Scandinavian style. We are glad to see high interest of people during the last four years in this project which has received six awards from various industry experts”, tells Mikus Freimanis, board member of LLC “Merks Mājas”. “In the final stage of the project, 90 apartments with 24 different layouts will be available, and on top of that, several green areas, playground and a park which separates the second and third phase will be offered, too. Currently we have more than 700 registered persons interested in the building of stage three.”

“Stage 3 of “Merks Viesturdārzs” will outline the general features of the residential complex designed by RUUME architects. The design brings Nordic features to the Silent Centre of Riga, coming up with new standards for a residential environment in the urban centre,” RUUME architects explain.

There will be 5 to 7 storeys constructed during stage three with total apartment area of 33 mto 217 m2. Apartment sales price starts from EUR 153,000. The building will have A class energy efficiency which means lower energy costs for residents and even temperature in the building in case of extreme temperature fluctuations. The apartments will have heated floors, and each apartment will have its balcony or terrace. A modern playground is expected to be constructed in the well-arranged yard. Residents of “Merks Viesturdārzs” stage 3 buildings will have a terrace of 165 m2 for common use on the 3rd floor for their festive gatherings. A grilling area under the roof and a separate recreation area with seats and greenery will be arranged. Private storage premises and parking lots will be available underground and they can be purchased separately. Meanwhile, the ground floor will feature spacious and locked premises for common use to store bicycles and strollers.

Meanwhile, the second stage building of “Merks Viesturdārzs” rapidly approaches its finalisation and commissioning. Currently less than 15 apartments are left for booking and their future residents will be able to move in a the end of 2022.
