Merks employees had been awarded the prizes for being the best specialists in construction field of Latvia in the competition “Construction Engineer of the Year  in Latvia”, organized by the magazine “The Construction of Latvia”.

 

Two Merks professionals Oļegs Haruta and Raitis Kravalis had been awarded in the third competition “ Construction Engineer of the Year 2010 in Latvia” .

 

Oļegs Haruta (the project: "Reconstruction of waste water treatment facilities and demolition of old facilities" within the project " Development of services of water handling facilities in Ādaži") had won the appreciation prize in the nomination “Project Manager of the Year 2010 in Latvia” .

 

Raitis Kravalis (the project: Hotel "Tallink Hotel Riga") had won the appreciation prize in the nomination “Site Manager of the Year 2010 in Latvia”.

 

Four Merks employees had been awarded in the  competion of 2009.

Project Manager Jānis Doniņš was awarded as the winner in the nomination “Project Manager of the Year 2009 in Latvia”. Project Manager Ivo Brālēns was awarded the appreciation prize in this nomination.

 

Emplyee Maksims Momots was awarded as the winner in the nomination “Site Manager of the Year 2009 in Latvia”, but employee Dmitrijs Jansons was awarded the appreciation prize.

 Also, like in previous year, Merks was awarded the special prize in this competition for being the place the best specialists of construction field are developed, awarded by the company „Sakret”.
