During the cooperating with Merks Ltd., we had been convinced for the supervising engineers’ of „Merks” Ltd. professional qualification and work experience in organizing the construction process.

„Merks” Ltd. performed the works professionally, in a good quality, following the stated terms, laws and normative acts of Republic of Latvia.

 

 

Within the framework of the European Union project „Simplified reconstruction – renovation/ energy efficiency increasing of education institutions in Sigulda district” Merks Ltd. performed reconstruction and renovation works for five educational institutions in Sigulda district.

The energy efficiency increasing works included the complete reconstruction – renovation of the delimiting constructions of the building. During the performance of the project cooperation with company „Merks” had been very successful and convenient for Sigulda district council, as a client. Especcially remarkable were performance and management of works in Merks Ltd.

Works were accomplished in the planned terms and in a high quality. The project managers and the supervising engineers of Merks Ltd. were educated and knowledgeable specialists, performing their duties professionally and with great responsibility.

The reconstruction – renovation works in preschool education institutions in Sigulda were organized by Merks Ltd., without interrupting the activity of the institutions, following the demands and wishes of the residents and the chief executive officers of Sigulda district.

After accomplishing the project, Merks Ltd. provided the wholesome training courses for the chief executive officers and the managers about the energy efficiency increasing arrangements in the buildings.

During the period from the October, 2009, until July, 2010, reconstruction of the building had been performed by Merks Ltd, accordingly the concluded contracts within the framework of the project „The Inovations and Business Centre of Vidzeme”, partially financed by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism.

 

The building is located in the building complex, known as „Pulka Sēta”, in the territory of the former army barracks.

 

Within the framework of the reconstruction work, Merks Ltd. performed the renovation of the second floor premises of the building: the office premises were built up, the building facade and the windows were renewed, the outer door and the roof covering were changed. The ceiling beams were changed and heightened without interrupting the acitivities in the first floor. The construction work were planned and coordinated precisely.

 

During the construction process, the good cooperation between the client, the construction superviser, and Merks Ltd. was established. As a result, all the parties involved in the construction process were able to deal with the problems professionally and operatively.

 

Construction work, by Merks Ltd., were performed in a high professional level, following the Latvian Construction Regulations, observing the terms prescribed in the contract, as well as taking into consideration the demands and wishes of the client. During the work performance, three elevators had been set up, and the construction process was provided without interrupting the function of the building.
