On 25th March  the show „The best Building of the Year 12010 in Latvia„, organized by Latvian Builders Association, had concluded with the award ceremony of  laureates.

The new office building of DnB NORD Banka constructed by Merks was awarded the 2nd prize in the nomination „New Construction”.

 

The office building is situated in the new and prospective territory of Riga – in Skanste. This building is remarkable for contemporary and functional solutions, spacious premises for employees and clients. It makes the significant contribution in development of Skanste.

 

On 17th of March two Merks professionals Oļegs Haruta and Raitis Kravalis had been awarded in the third competition “Construction Engineer of the Year 2010 in Latvia”, organized by the magazine “The Construction of Latvia” .

 

Oļegs Haruta (the project: "Reconstruction of waste water treatment facilities and demolition of old facilities" within the project " Development of services of water handling facilities in Ādaži") had won the appreciation prize in the nomination “Project Manager of the Year 2010 in Latvia” .

 

Raitis Kravalis (the project: Hotel "Tallink Hotel Riga") had won the appreciation prize in the nomination “Site Manager of the Year 2010 in Latvia”.
