Merks, during the period of operation, has built several engineering structures – water supply system reconstruction, waste water treatment plants, drinking water decontamination and treatment plants, and drinking water extraction sites in Rīga and the vicinity, Jūrmala, Valmiera and other cities in Latvia.

Residents of Jūrmala, Valmiera, Salacgrīva enjoy the daily use of utility works constructed by Merks, many residents of Latvia cross rivers using bridges erected by Merks all across Latvia.
