In 2008, Merks commenced the construction of the seven-story hotel Tallink Hotel Riga at Elizabetes iela 24/2. Construction was completed on 31 March 2010.

There were built 256 rooms, three elevators, an underground car park, beauty salon and recreational complex, a lobby bar, a restaurant and 6 conference rooms in the hotel.

During the construction process, the historic façade of the building designed by the renowned architect K. Felsko in 1897 is preserved. The entirety of the whole building, characteristic to Riga historic centre, has been retained in the dimensions of the hotel.

The hotel was opened for operation in April 15, 2010.

 Agreement for "Renovation anf extension of water-main and sewerage system in Carnikava" was concluded with "Merks" Ltd. on 2 October, 2008.

 

By entering into contract a modern water supply system was reconstructed in  length of 3.2 km and extension of water supply and sewerage system in length of 1,5 km were reconstructed. As well as sewerage nets were reconstructed and extended in the length of 7.69km.

Project was financed by Cohesion Fund of European Union, LAtvian State and Municipality of Carnikava.
