In 2007 and 2008, with the support of Merks, the Singing Festival of Maestro Raimonds Pauls were held in ”Arēna Rīga”, that has already evolved into an annual tradition. Each of the concerts on Sunday night that included lots of singing together drew the crowd of about 12 000 people, some thousand of which happened to be the choir members from all over Latvia.
