Merks ambitions to support events with public importance, which give a possibility to new talents compete and show their abilities, are resulted in cooperation with Association Deju centrs “Spektrs” .

 

Traditional international Dance Festival „Baltic Grand Prix ” is remarkable Latvian cultural and sports event. It is the largest, most popular and prestigious Dancesport festival in the Baltic States and stays among the largest in Europe.

 

At the end of 2008, Merks sponsored the 27th Festival of Sports Dances, the European Youth Championship in Standard Dances in which the Merks Cup ”Rising Star” in the Latin American Dance category was awarded for the first time.

 

In 2010 Merks supported the contest of new talents. Merks Cup was awarded in Youth Standard Dances competition.
