Mārasciems is a private home residential village that was built over several stages of build-up. With a total area of 12.8 hectares, there are over 100 plots of land with an area from 1200 to 2020 m². In stage one, Merks built 13 one- and two-storey private homes with an area of 119 to 227 m².

 

These homes have been built according to standard design projects. In the following stages, the well-appointed plots of land were built up according to the individual projects of their owners. The village has an autonomous gas heating system, a city water supply and autonomous sewerage with bio-treatment, paved streets, and street lighting.

 

Mārasciems was put into service in 2004-2005.
