Construction company Merks selected to build first building of GUSTAVS Business Center

Real estate developer GALIO Group has signed a contract with construction company Merks to construct a brand new GUSTAVS Business Center building with a total area of 23’500 square meters including underground parking. It will be the first of three GUSTAVS Business Center buildings located at Gustava Zemgala gatve 73 and is the first project to be launched in Riga planned by GALIO Group. Construction of the business center will start this summer.

GUSTAVS Business Center will ensure comfort both for employees and visitors as each of the three buildings will offer its main areas: recreational space, event space and active recreation space. The project has been designed as six-storey office buildings with a two-level underground car park, atrium with wooden skylight structure, roof terraces, conference halls, restaurant zone, electric car charging opportunities, bicycle storage and locker rooms. The project will be developed complying with BREEAM Excellent international standard for sustainable buildings.

One of the first official tenants of GUSTAVS Business center is SEB Group’s business services centre in Riga – an agreement has been signed to move its existing office to the newly constructed GUSTAVS Business center. SEB is planning to occupy approximately 11 000 square meters to accommodate more than 1000 employees.
