“Merks” begins the second stage construction and apartment reservation of the residential project “Merks Viesturdārzs”
The construction company “Merks” has begun the second stage construction of the residential project “Merks Viesturdārzs” and reservation of apartments. Within this project, one building with 167 apartments and 7 commercial units will be constructed at Rūpniecības street 27, in Riga. The second stage is expected to be completed by the first half of 2022.
“After the delivery of the first-stage building this summer and good sales results, we have decided to begin the second stage construction and reservation of apartments. With the construction of this building, we continue the construction of the largest residential quarter in the Quiet Center, while creating an attractive living environment that is architecturally integrated into the surroundings of Viesturdārzs park and the eclectic Quiet Center,” says Andris Bišmeistars, the Member of the Board of “Merks”.
“2-5 room apartments of various layouts will be available in the project’s second-stage building. Taking into account the market trends and the project’s special suitability for comfort-loving families, in the second-stage building we have placed more emphasis on the apartments with 3 and more rooms. The first five buyers will have a special offer – a 5 000 EUR discount from the initial price of the apartment, when purchasing an apartment with 3 or more rooms,” says Mikus Freimanis, Head of Real Estate Development of “Merks”.
The second-stage building is an example of industrial modernist architecture, which will have 5 to 7 floors, while the living space of the apartments will be 33-150 m2. The price of the apartments is planned to be 2500-2900 EUR/m2. This building will definitely stand out because of its underfloor heating. It will have class A energy efficiency, which will ensure lower energy consumption for the residents and an even temperature in the building at sharp changes in outdoor temperature. Each apartment will have a balcony or a terrace, a children’s playground is planned in the yard. On the underground floor there will be private storage rooms and parking lots with the possibility to build electric car charging points, while on the first floor there will be spacious and lockable common rooms for storing bicycles and prams.
“Merks Viesturdārzs” is the newest residential project developed by the construction company “Merks”, located in the prestigious Quiet Center. Within the project, it is planned to build three buildings with about 350 apartments. The construction company “Merks” is both the developer and builder, as well as the warranty provider of this project, taking full responsibility for the performed work and the quality of the applied materials.
