Change in the Management and Supervisory Board of SIA “Merks”

There will be a change in the Management Board of SIA “Merks” as of 1 April 2020. Oskars Ozoliņš, who has held the position of the Chairman of the Management Board since 2012, will leave the company. Current Member of the Management Board and Construction Director Andris Bišmeistars will start as the new Chairman of the Management Board and the Board will continue with one member.

“This is my personal decision. I have devoted a significant part of my professional life to Merks, and the time for change has come both for me and the company. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Merks shareholders for the confidence they have given me and Merks team for the work they have done over the years. I leave with heartfelt gratification. I will dedicate the remaining time in the company to making these changes as smooth as possible, giving Andris all the necessary support in taking over the management of the company,” said Oskars Ozoliņš.

In addition to the Management Board, there will be a change in the Supervisory Board of SIA “Merks” – current member of the Board, Janis Šperbergs will resign and the Board will continue with three members: Andres Trink (Chairman), Tõnu Toomik, and Priit Roosimägi.
