Skanstes Houses – the most energy efficient apartment building in Latvia 2015

The multi-storey apartment building in Riga at 17 Grostonas Street project which is the first of three buildings within the Skanstes Houses project was submitted by SIA Merks to the competition The Most Energy Efficient Building in Latvia 2015, and won the first place in the nomination for The Most Energy Efficient Apartment Building in Latvia 2015. The main evaluation criteria in The Most Energy Efficient Building in Latvia 2015 competition were the total heat consumption indicators for heating and hot water, as well as heat savings after renovation. Ventilation system solutions, sustainable solutions and construction quality were put forward as secondary criteria.
